Compared honestly
AstroSage vs AstroTalk vs Drik Panchang, which is better for kundli?
Three famous names, three different businesses, and each offers a free kundli. Graha Darpan publishes this page and runs a kundli service of its own, so read it as you would any host describing the neighbours. Every fact about the three comes from their own pages and app listings, as they stood on 10 October 2026.
The short answer
Which is better for kundli depends on what you want, because these are three different things. AstroSage and Drik Panchang both give deep free charts with a choice of ayanamsa. Drik Panchang is calculation first, with mean or true nodes and divisional charts up to D60. AstroSage is the broader portal, with reports, many languages and paid consultations. AstroTalk is a marketplace for talking to astrologers by the minute.
Three businesses built around three different things
Each site is shaped by what it sells. AstroSage is a portal, and its free kundli sits among many other free tools, paid reports and a consultation service. AstroTalk is a marketplace built around astrologers you pay by the minute, with a free kundli beside them. Drik Panchang is a calculation site built around the panchang, and its kundli page is a calculator with the settings in plain view.
AstroSage kundli features
AstroSage has a website and apps on Android and iOS, and Google Play labels the Android app as containing ads and in-app purchases. Its kundli tools include these.
- A free kundli form with N.C. Lahiri, K.P. New, K.P. Old, B.V. Raman, KP Khullar or Sayan ayanamsa and North or South Indian charts. It says the free software gives a report of more than 50 pages.
- All 16 divisional charts in the app, with Vimshottari and Udu dasha to five levels and Yogini dasha.
- Ashtakoota matching out of 36 points, a Mangal dosh check and a panchang.
- A site in English and thirteen more languages, Marathi, Tamil and Urdu among them, and an app in nine.
Its strength is breadth. Few sites hold so much of the tradition in one place, in so many languages. Around the chart sit paid reports, a yearly software plan and consultations with human astrologers, and its home page also lists about 30 AI astrologer personas, billed per minute like the human ones.
AstroTalk kundli features
AstroTalk has a website and apps on Android and iOS, and its refund policy states the model plainly. It “charges for the chat/call service offered on this platform on per minute basis”, at rates that vary by astrologer. Astrologer cards list the languages each one speaks, and you talk your chart through by chat or call.
Its free kundli is generous for a marketplace.
- A 50+ page kundli PDF with North or South Indian charts.
- Divisional charts such as D9 and D10, and Vimshottari dasha.
- A Mangal dosha calculator and Ashtakoot matching out of 36 points.
- A site in English, Hindi and Kannada, with astrologers who list languages such as Marathi.
Its own blog says AI works in the background there, matching users to astrologers and helping with kundli generation, and stays out of the consultations. That is the strength, a human being to talk to, chosen by you.
Drik Panchang kundli features
Drik Panchang has a website and apps on Android and iOS. The panchang is its core product, with regional panchangs including a Marathi one, and its kundali page puts the settings in your hands.
- Lahiri (Chitra Paksha), B.V. Raman, Krishnamurthi or Tropical ayanamsa.
- A toggle for mean or true Rahu and Ketu.
- North, South, East or West chart styles.
- Bhav Chalit and twenty divisional charts between D1 and D60.
- Tabs for Vimshottari dasha, Ashtakavarga, Shadbala and Bhavabala.
Matching follows the Ashtakuta method, and the Mangal dosha calculator checks the Lagna, Moon and Venus charts. We saw no AI features on the pages we checked. The strength is the calculation itself, laid out openly for people who read charts or take them to their own astrologer.
Languages are its narrower side. The settings list thirteen languages, but the site says only English and Hindi are fully supported across it. It is free with ads. A voluntary contribution, ₹108 to ₹499 for a month or ₹500 or more for a year at the time of writing (October 2026), removes the ads and adds PDFs and room to save 5,000 kundlis in the cloud.

- You want a site in a language beyond English and Hindi, such as Tamil, Bengali or Gujarati.
- You want dashas to five levels and Yogini dasha in an app.
Choose AstroTalk if
- You want to talk your chart through with a human astrologer.

- A free kundli PDF covers what you need from the calculation.
Choose Drik Panchang if
- You want to set the ayanamsa, the nodes and the chart style yourself.
- You study vargas up to D60, Ashtakavarga or Shadbala.
- You already check its panchang every day.
Nothing stops you using two. Drik Panchang for the calculation and a trusted astrologer for the conversation is a sensible pairing.
Where Graha Darpan fits
Graha Darpan, which publishes this page, is smaller and narrower than all three. It casts a free kundli with no account, giving the chart, the Vimshottari dasha timeline, yogas and today's forecast. The chart uses the Swiss Ephemeris in one declared setting, Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and mean nodes, and shows every position to the minute of arc.
An AI Jyotishi answers questions about your chart from those computed positions, at one prepaid credit per question, with the cost shown before you spend. It has no human astrologers, no choice of ayanamsa and three languages (English, Hindi and Marathi). If you want a person, a choice of settings or another language, one of the three above will serve you better.
Common questions
Which is better for kundli, AstroSage, AstroTalk or Drik Panchang?
It depends on the job. For the calculation, AstroSage and Drik Panchang are both strong, and Drik Panchang is the more focused of the two. For breadth and languages, choose AstroSage. For a conversation with a human astrologer, choose AstroTalk.
Do AstroSage and Drik Panchang give the same kundli?
They should agree closely when the birth details and the settings match. Set both to Lahiri, check that the birth time and place are identical, and then compare. Most differences between serious calculators come from input or settings, not from the astronomy.
Is the AstroTalk kundli free?
Yes. Its free kundli page offers a 50+ page PDF with North or South Indian charts, D9 and D10, Vimshottari dasha and matching out of 36 points. What AstroTalk charges for is time with astrologers, billed per minute.
Which ayanamsa does Drik Panchang use?
The one you choose. Its kundli page offers Lahiri (Chitra Paksha), B.V. Raman, Krishnamurthi and Tropical, and a switch between mean and true Rahu and Ketu.
Which of them works in Hindi or Marathi?
AstroSage lists Hindi and Marathi on its site and in its app. Drik Panchang lists both, though it says only English and Hindi are fully supported. AstroTalk's site has English, Hindi and Kannada versions, and some of its astrologers list Marathi.
